Recycling Bins

Recycling bins for resident use are located near the airport on Airport Highway, just east of State Route 295. The bins are not easily visible from Airport Highway — look for the paved access road on the south side of the highway, about halfway between the entrance to Toledo Express Airport and State Route 295.

For a full list of what can be recycled — including computers, cell phones, paint, tires, and more — visit Lucas County's recycling resources.

Scrap Metal Pickup

Several local businesses offer free scrap metal pickup for homeowners. If you need this service to comply with the Swanton Township Zoning Resolution, contact a scrap metal hauler to schedule a pickup. Check the Yellow Pages under "Scrap Metal" for local options.
